Time Staffing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Carpenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks on construction projects. This role involves constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wood structures and fixtures. Working with blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and using various tools to build structures like frameworks, walls, and floors.  This role involves physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure project completion and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Understanding and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and project requirements
• Assist in the setting up and teardown of job sites.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Building frameworks, walls, floors, doorframes, and other structures. 
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other materials according to project specifications. 
• Installing windows, doors, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions accurately.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Basic understanding of construction or maintenance practices is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to work independently when required, demonstrating initiative and responsibility.
