Job Title: Saw Operator
Work Location: Union City
Job Type: Full-time: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
$13.50
Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for running the saw.
- Ability to read programs in order to program the saw to cut the wood to the length required to build pallets.
- Moving product with pallet jack and or forklift.
- Operating Pneumatic Tools such as drills, powered screw drivers and the saw.
- Clean work area to Company standards.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal skills – This employee will be required to communicate with other employees within the company.
- Teamwork – Each employee in this area is required to work with other team members when job requires additional help.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
- Must be able to bend and stoop during shift.
