Production Worker
Priority Personnel is hiring a Production Worker for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX.
Pay rate: $17/hour
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/6:00am-2:30pm
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate machinery to manufacture complex products and customized bundles per work orders.
- Accurately record all necessary information needed for traceability and inventory control.
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain proper adjustment of machinery. Replace worn parts and lubricate machines as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify Inventory Control of low levels or defective materials.
- Movement of raw and finished materials, manually lifting up to 50 pounds or using forklift when necessary.
- Regularly review and remain current on Operating Procedures, Quality Procedures and Manufacturing Specifications regarding the wrapping process.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area using LEAN Manufacturing principals
- Work in a Team environment
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Education High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience or training in forklift operation.
- Experienced in the use of hand tools and machinery.
