Production Worker 1st Shift
Time staffing is currently seeking experienced production workers in the Bowling Green, Ohio area.
Production Worker – Time Staffing's client has determined that it experiences better productivity and higher employee satisfaction by periodically rotating jobs within the facility. Therefore, the worksite requires all production workers to be able to perform the essential functions of all jobs located within the facility.
Essential Functions – of a production worker include:
* The ability to stand for 10 hours (minus breaks).
* Lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis, and 50lbs on a limited basis.
* Work at a pace consistent with expectations.
* The worksite has all major allergens in the plant including dried mild, dried eggs, fish meal, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. As a producer of natural grain and grass products, including different types of hay, our workers are subjected to grain dust and pollen which can cause allergic reactions in certain individuals. Applicants must be aware that an essential function of their employment at this worksite is dependent upon their ability to cope with these environmental conditions.
* Employees must be able to work safely around heavy equipment such as conveyers, augers, automated machinery and fork lifts.
* Safety is a very high priority for all employees.
* The worksite is a Drug Free Workplace. Pre-employment Drug Screening is required.
* The work schedule is dictated by the receipt of orders for product from the client's customers, therefore this job also requires the ability to occasionally work overtime and on weekends, often with fairly short notice.
