Time Staffing is seeking a experienced Maintenance Technician for a company in West Unity, Ohio.
Reports to Administrative manager
RESPONISIBILITIES

  • General maintenance of company owned vehicles as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • All scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment is executed in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Responsible for handling in an effective and timely manner all problems that arise during the course of operations.
  • Responsible for following safety standards.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility meets OSHA, State, Federal rules, regulations, and mandates.
  • Assist Maintenance on the build of all equipment. Ensuring electrical excellence.
  • Assemble equipment and parts lists.
  • Maintain a professional, cohesive relationship with Maintenance Supervisor and Rimm-Kleen staff.
  • Track hourly time of equipment builds and service calls.
  • Maintain order and organization of parts, raw materials, and supplies.
  • Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor on the reorder of parts, equipment, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of facilities, vehicles, and equipment as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Responsible for vendor lease equipment preventative maintenance, scheduling, budget, and execution.
  • Repairs to be effective and cost efficient.
  • Use talents and capabilities of yourself and to reduce cost.
  • Responsible for all electrical repairs and diagnosis within facility, equipment, and as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the repair of hand tools.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance on production line equipment.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Utilizes staff to help maintain production equipment and solve problems to minimize down time.
  • All production is on schedule and meets or exceeds scheduled volume.
  • Customers are satisfied with our service and product.
  • All Production operations are executed at or below budget as directed by Administrative Manager.
  • Increase company profit by utilizing your skills to build parts.
  • Conservation of supplies.
  • Increase company profit by lowering expenses on maintenance and repair.

WARHOUSE AND FACILITIES

  • Responsible for keeping shipping docs clean, clear of debris, dry, and safety painted.  
  • Responsible for all tools and equipment in company possession.
  • Use talents and capabilities of yourself and staff to help reduce cost.
  • Ensure facility stays clean and organized.
  • Ensure facility and all production meets OSHA, State, Federal rules, regulations and mandates as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Seek guidance and direction as necessary for the quick and accurate performance of the listed duties and responsibilities.

  • Perform any other related or unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, unusual or special duty the Production Supervisor may assign from time to time.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Extensive knowledge within the particular trade of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the reconditioning of rims, in particular, burning, blasting, zinc powder priming, powder coat paint priming, and production line operation. Knowledge of the operation of all the equipment and systems related to the manufacturing line and necessary for such projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BODY POSITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee and supervisor are regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
  • BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee and supervisor must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as computer equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach the objects, and to crouch when needed are also required.
  • BODY SENSES: The employee and supervisor must have command of all five senses: sight, hearing, smell and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • STRENGTH: The employees and supervisor must have the ability to lift 30 pounds with regularity.
  • WORKING CONDITION: The Production Supervisor will work primarily in the shop and offices Hardline International, Inc. The shop is heated when required and is cooled by fan and ventilation. The position may also include some time spent in customer facilities via box truck or shop pickup truck.
