Forklift Driver – All Shifts
Hamilton-Ryker is seeking qualified Forklift Operators to fill temp-to-hire positions in the shipping/receiving department of a manufacturing facility in Manchester, TN.
All Shifts Available
1st Shift $16.48 an hour. (Mon.-Fri. 6am-2:30pm)
& 2nd and 3rd Shift $17.51 an hour.(Mon.-Fri. 2pm-10:30 am & Sun.-Thur.10pm-6:30am)
All Overtime is mandatory when called.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and all other material handling equipment plastic
- Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure a safe and positive work atmosphere at all times
- The forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle
- Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory
- Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets and all other materials
Requirements:
- High school education / GED
- Must have reliable transportation
- 2 years minimum forklift experience
- Ability to organize and sort in detail
- Good communication skills, positive attitude, and team player
- Must be able to work all assigned overtime
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. frequently throughout the workday
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and to bend, twist, push and pull frequently throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Comply with the clients Hamilton-Ryker's substance abuse policy
