Extrusion Operator
Priority Personnel is hiring a Night Extrusion Operator for a company located in San Marcos, TX.
Work Schedule: 7pm-7am/2-2-3 schedule, must be able to work every other weekend.
Pay rate: $20.50/hour
Job Duties:
- Setting all machine running conditions using Process Cards, Schedules and past run sheets.
- Performing the following skill as to running the extrusion line:
- Changing rolls
- Bubble size adjustment
- Gauge adjustment
- Gauge film sample
- Understanding the resin mixing
- Assisting in the following:
- Screen pack changes
- Die cleaning
- Die re-assembly and set up
- Screen pulling, cleaning and re- assembly
- Barrel cleaning
- All paperwork including blend, sheets pallet sheets, roll tickets, heat sheets, roll tickets, heat sheets, production sheets etc.
- Sampling for Quality Checks
- Watching all rolls and for:
- Correct Width and Weigh
- Correct Gauge
- Any abnormality in the material- dirt, gels, carbons, etc.
- No contaminants (grease dirt, etc.) on bags
- Specific customer requirements.
- All require testing equipment
- Correct identification on product and packaging such as roll tickets.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience
- Must be able to lift 50-80 lbs
