1st shift Shipping Material Handler
Do you have Shipping/Receiving experience? Experience operating Sit-down forklift?
We are seeking for qualified candidates for a Shipping Material Handler position for a fast-paced manufacturing company that makes wire shelving.
Location: Frankfort KY
Hours: 1st shift Mon – Fri 6:30am – 5:00pm (10hr shifts)
** Currently offering Double Time for any overtime hours worked***
Pay: $22.00
DOUBLE TIME PAY FOR ANY HOURS WORKED OVER 40!
What you'll do:
- Ensures our products are provided to customers in an efficient and timely manner
- Operating sit-down forklift
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Pulling and staging orders
- Operate RF Scanning
- Preparing bills of lading via computer system
- Performing inventory control functions such as cycle counting
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Manually wrapping and stacking pallets
- Will be on and off the forklift several times throughout the shift.
What we need from you:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Comply with client's substance abuse & background policy
- Experience operating Sit-down forklift
- Experience in all functions of shipping/receiving operations
- Exceptional computer & communication skills
- Able to pass a math, measuring and mechanical comprehension test
- Able to regularly lift up to 50lbs. repetitively
