Quality Engineer in Humboldt, TN
Salary position pay between $85k-$90K

We are looking for a quality engineer to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs. The quality
engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing
quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality
measures.
A successful quality engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products
consistently meet established quality standards.

Strategic Tasks
· Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
· Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
· Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
· Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
· Developing and implementing quality standards according to MR standards.
· Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
Operative Tasks
Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and
function of products (eg. FMEA, Controlplan).
· Ensures products meet the organizations and customers quality and product integrity requirements
· Supports product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
· Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
· Provides support, guidance, and assistance during all external ISO based audits performed by customers, corporate Quality
Management representatives or ISO registrars
· Performs internal audit functions to manage, maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that all
standards are met
· Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with organizational standards.
· Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
· Understand and perform gauge R & R's
· Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables
· Maintain document control system for the facility to ensure that all documents are current, correct, relevant and comply with ISO
standards
· Local, domestic and international travel may be required at least two times a year weeks at a time-including some travel to perform
audits or visit customers or suppliers.
· Lead 8D teams to determine root cause, implement countermeasure, and verify effectiveness of countermeasure.
· Support of product development teams from the beginning till start of production.
Competencies/Authorization: 
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Extensive knowledge of or the ability to learn the organizations production processes.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· ISO 9001/ VDA6.3
· AIAG Core Tools
Characteristics of the function:
· Manufacturing Assembly and Office setting.
· The employee is required to regularly required to use hands, fingers, operate controls such as computer equipment and is required
to communicate clearly with all employees.
Requirements:
Education: Electrical background mandatory
Experience and Skills:
· 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
