Administrative Assistant/ Clerical Worker

Job Title: – Administrative Assistant / Clerical

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant / Clerical to join one of our client's growing team. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.  Requirement to type 50 WPM and MINIMUM 2 years clerical experience.

In this position you will be performing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be working in a positive team environment interacting with customers both over the phone and in person.

Shift: 1st Shift/Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Job Duties of the Administrative Assistant / Clerical:

  • Detailed oriented
  • Data entry, and experience in all Microsoft programs (Word & Excel)
  • Professional interaction with customers on the phone and in person
  • Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data being entered
  • Organize and schedule work with minimum of supervisory direction
  • Manage clerical or administrative activities.
  • Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
  • Greet customers, patrons, or visitors.
  • Order materials, supplies, or equipment.
  • File documents or records.

Job Requirements of Administrative Assistant / Clerical:

  • Experience in all Microsoft programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast learner, dependable and need good communication skills
  • Must have Customer Service experience in an office setting
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
  • Must have a High School Diploma, college degree a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations;
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-10 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
  • The candidate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
