Priority Personnel is hiring 4 Temporary Admin Assistants to work at a department for Texas State University.  Assignment is expected to last 3-6 months.

Pay rate: $18/hour

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm  (occasional weekend and evenings may be required)

Locations: 2 San Marcos, 1 Seguin and 1 Del Valle

Job Duties:

  • Assist with program recruitment.
  • Assist with completing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) needs assessments and LASSI’s annually for new and continuing participants.
  • Assist with monitoring student grades and tracking academic progress.
  • Assist with after school tutoring, Saturday Sessions, and Summer Program.
  • Provide college admission and financial aid process information. Support recently graduated seniors as they transition to postsecondary education.
  • Assist with the documentation of services provided, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist with pre and post evaluations for participants and parents/guardians.
  • Monitor outcome objectives, collect data, and assist in preparing annual performance reports/other reports as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain professional outreach networks within target area communities and schools, serving as a liaison and point of contact as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience with academic support programs focused on student success.
  • Experience assisting with programs, events, trips, and workshops for students.
  • Effective writing and speaking skills.
  • Experience with computer software (Microsoft suite) and database management platforms.
