Hamilton-Ryker Earns Safety Standard of Excellence Mark From American Staffing Association and National Safety Council
Alexandria, VA, March 28, 2017—Hamilton-Ryker, a staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions company headquartered in Tennessee, has earned the Safety Standard of Excellence mark from the American Staffing Association. The program, developed by ASA and the National Safety Council, promotes industry-wide safety best practices.
By participating in the Safety Standard of Excellence program, staffing companies, their temporary workers, and host employers can build a mutually beneficial relationship to help identify and mitigate workplace hazards and exposures, ensure clear communication between the staffing firm and host employer, and clearly delineate the safety responsibilities of each party.
“ASA congratulates Hamilton-Ryker for its commitment to protecting and enhancing temporary worker safety, and for being among the first to earn the Safety Standard of Excellence mark,” said Stephen C. Dwyer, Esq., ASA general counsel. “Hamilton-Ryker has tangibly demonstrated to clients, candidates, and employees its commitment to safety best practices.”
“Companies participating in the Safety Standard of Excellence program are to be commended for taking steps to put their companies’ practices under the microscope and seeking to be the best they can be for their temporary workers,” said Amy Harper, Ph.D., NSC director of workplace initiatives and Journey to Safety Excellence. “The commitment to safety demonstrated through Safety Standard of Excellence program participation should speak volumes to the clients with whom these staffing firms do business.”
“Hamilton-Ryker is proud to receive the Safety Standard of Excellence mark from the American Staffing Association and the National Safety Council,” said Kelly McCreight, Hamilton-Ryker president. “Since our founding more than 45 years ago, safety and risk management practices have been extremely important to our organization and our employees. As we have grown and expanded, consistent safety programs and risk management are vital to our continued success and to the overall health of our employees and organization.”
